but wait here is more to it

Q: so, more habibs is actually desirable?

A: If you want to move fast or have more power, I think it's obvious why more habibs would make this happen.

ECU needs to know how many habibs (air) are coming in da club so that it can get the spark plugs (chicks) and fuel (had in the shape of a gun) and then???

CHK CHK BOOM!!!

everyone should be happy now. biggrin.gif

Good find Krishy. I laughed so hard. :D

anyone know of a plastic welder in sa?

There is Morrells on South Road, Richmond. Its a small paint shop behind the Morrells car yard. He's done my plastics for my bikes and is doing the bodykit for my 33.

:)

oh, and masive congrats to Graham Manou who is making his test debut

heck yes! Quality player, when i played at the Jets i trained with him a fair bit. Also trained with Shannon Hurn, before he went to AFL, Mark Cosgrove and Chris Duval (before he went to Tassie).

u do realise that a NA engine has more torque due to the fact it dosent have forced induction to get everything going?

you do realise that you are wrong?

seriously, whatever you are smoking, i think you need to stop. but hey, if you want to call the good people at nissan (and in fact every other company that has made turbo versions and NA versions of the same motor) liars for publishing power figures that prove otherwise, you go for it.

Today, I tried to be sexy and put a condom on with my mouth. Instead, I inhaled it and my boyfriend broke three of my ribs giving me the Heimlich maneuver. FML

Today, my boyfriend and I made a date to try to save our relationship. I sat in his room for hours while he watched YouTube videos of World of Warcraft. FML

Today, I told my therapist that I suspected my partner was unfaithful, but I don't think he believed me. "What, did you find a membership card to a sex club in his wallet or something?" he asked. When I got home, I looked in my partner's wallet. I found a membership card to a sex club. FML

Today, I was downtown with my boyfriend around Noon when we walked past a few guys who shouted out to me "You're the most beautiful girl we've seen all day". My boyfriend's response was "It's still early." FML

Today, my two year old daughter did not want to leave the toy store, when I picked her up she started screaming at the top of her lungs, "YOU'RE NOT MY DADDY!". FML

Today, I cleaned my house after a big party. Everything was great when my parents came home. Except for the bottle of hot and spicy mustard next to the shampoo in the shower. No one knows how it got there. I'm busted because of mustard. FML

Not sure where the RB25DET engine torque figure listed above came from, but it's actually quoted by Nissan as 30.0kgm at 4800rpm - just under 295Nm.

The UK skyline forum and another source..... Nissan

seat of the pants you can feel a huge difference in mid range from S1 R34 and S2 models in the same state of tune , even more so when you add a 270.00 part it improves the car dramatically in the low to mid range punch to make it soooo much better to drive daily

next improvement

dumping the heavy flywheel/shitty clutch on mine in a few weeks to free up the rpm Revs more, but the torque feel will go away when I do that.. oh well worth it

what an idiot......needs a good kick to the nads to sort him out..lol

In super saddening news, the intermittent transmission fault that has delayed me taking delivery of my new car has returned (despite new vehicle speed sensors being replaced and a full trans service including $1,200 of CVT fluid), so I won't be gong to Melbourne to pick it up tomorrow :);) ;) Hopefully it is a solenoind issue and can be sorted soon, otherise I will have to start looking for another car.

Also spotted James being a champ and dropping off some tyres to me today - thanks mate! Your 33 is clean as!

    • The sodium acetate, mixed with citric acid, doesn't actually buffer each other. Interestingly though, if you used Sodium Acetate, and acetic acid, THAT becomes a buffer solution. Additionally, a weak acid that can attack a metal, is still a weak acid that can attack a metal. If you don't neutralise it, and wash it off, it's going to be able to keep attacking. It works the same way when battery acid dries, get that stuff somewhere, and then it gets wet, and off it goes again breaking things down. There's a reason why people prefer a weak acid, and it's because they want TIME to be able to be on their side. IE, DIY guys are happy to leave some mild steel in vinegar for 24 hours to get mill scale off. However, if you want to do it chemically in industry, you grab the muriatic acid. If you want to do it quicker at home, go for the acetic acid if you don't want muriatic around. At the end of the day, look at the above thumbnail, as it proves what I said in the earlier post, you can clean that fuel tank up all you want with the solution, but the rust that has now been removed was once the metal of the fuel tank. So how thin in spots is your fuel tank getting? If the magazine on the left, is the actual same magazine as on the right, you'll notice it even introduces more holes... Well, rust removal in general actually does that. The fuel tank isn't very thick. So, I'll state again, look to replace the tank, replace the fuel hanger, and pump, work out how the rust and shit is making it past the fuel filter, and getting into the injectors. That is the real problem. If the fuel filter were doing its job, the injectors wouldn't be blocked.
    • Despite having minimal clothing because of the hot weather right now, I did have rubber gloves and safety glasses on just in-case for most of the time. Yes, I was scrubbing with my gloves on before, but brushing with a brush removes the remaining rust. To neutralize, I was thinking distilled water and baking soda, or do you think that would be overkill?
    • You can probably scrub the rust with a toothbrush or something. After you get the rust off flush well with water to neutralize and you will probably want to also use a fuel tank sealer to keep it from rusting again.
    • The sodium citrate solution is designed to buffer the citric acid to keep it from attacking metal quite so much, the guy that came up with that recipe did a ton of testing on how much metal loss occurs over time and it's nothing crazy unless you forget about it for months:
