What do you guys think of these rims? My new car may (or may not) be a 350Z, but is black and lowered - so won't look too dissimilar.

I am thinking either these silver/black centres (as in the pic), or straight black centres. But both have a big polished dish like these.

Daniel, I've edited part of your post.

We're going from discussing a specific issue relating to Mitch's car to the way they do their work.

Be warned, if this becomes a slagging match at Turbo Tune for any reason other than the way they handled Mitch's situation (ie. poor workmanship & customer practises) then warnings/bans will be dealt out!

Black car needs some contrast. As they are in the pic is my vote

Yeah I agree Ruby - I like black centres, but find that with some dish it becomes too dark in there and you lose the shape of the centre and it just looks dirty.

Mind you the attached pic (which is a very similar wheel) doesn't look too bad - but is it much less dish than I am after, so in not an accurate reflection.

Surely even if you had comprehensive insurance it would only cover you if the alarm were armed and they didn't have access to keys. Since I am sure the car wouldn't have been alarmed/locked, and the thieves would surely have had access to your keys - so that argument is completely moot.

I am willing to bet their insurance would have to cover you.

the government said they dont wanna put cash in, they dont f**king need to! the consortium has enough cash! secondly, they said to go through normal planning avenues, and the consortium has! but the government told them they cant have the land they wanted after stalling them for ages

the only way we will get this track is at the polls.

I've tried telling people on ns.com that years ago when I went there. No one listens as usual.

Pathetic.

    • Connected to plenum towards the rear end. Yes, absolutely required for the ECU. Even Nistune can't save you if you don't have it.
    • Can confirm solenoid makes no difference. I finally removed the solenoid and the wire off my engine loom and there is no issue with boost. Keep in mind, this is the solenoid, and I've got a Nistune. After the boost controller, I ran the car for a day with the solenoid unplugged - no issue. So then I just ripped the whole thing out. Like @GTSBoy mentioned before, the ECU just sends an earth signal for the 2-stage boost. And looking at the wire going into the solenoid, that just had 2 standard wires and did not look important 🤣 As for boost sensor: I saw somewhere that the vacuum line the gauge uses is at the back of the engine on the driver side. I never touched that but assume ECU uses that??? (maybe? Just assuming)

    • True! I think I'm closer to 06 with the cameras in phones being out there more. And the nearly impossible to use internet web browsers. Or paying for ring tones... Man I hated when we couldn't just compose a ringtone on a Nokia anymore! These days I just hate it if my phone rings, beeps, boops, or vibrates!
