yeah, the guy my mate is gettin the sus/axles/brakes thru just needs a stud pattern. 5x114.3 gives us the most flexibility (ford, nissan, toyota, mazda, etc).

also will be in contact regardin them stockies

i hate cars sometimes!

Car is in getting about $1000 worth of work done to her  Im carless until at least wednesday if not longer :D

All new hoses.. thermostat.. cooling system flushed and new coolant, amongst other things.

flick, the hose that gave out on you sounds like the one i had give out a couple of times. cost me about 600 bucks over both times to just have them replaced. woulda lost coolant without knowing it? not until it decided to boil over?

well temp never really changed at all. I didnt have a clue anything was wrong until i got to work and saw the coolant pissing out everythere and steaming! The hose was pretty much split in 2 when i got to the mechanics.

Decided to replace a few other hoses along with it, cos theyre sure to go very soon too

:D i used to work for Olympic Trailers :) making 6x4 5x8 custom and horse float side's and tail gates

in a day from nothing to complete chassis i used to make 2x 6x4 that's cut and bend all my own materials

oh, and a small note

the process is started, my trailer is about to be started :P. Once its built, my mate has said he will be happy to build more (and to your specs). Designs are ADR approved, so will be easy to get passed through a regency inspection to gain registration as well

i'll have my trailer by the time shepparton comes round (give or take a week or two prior to having to go)

I would't mind having a look at that when its finished Matty, as i use to build custom made trailers for 5 years, oh and you dont need to take it to regency to get rego, just need to take it to a registerd trailer manufacture for a quick visual inspection to get it rego'd
hears a pic of one of my old creations, full box chassis, full tilt, winch, side mounted spare wheel, hide away alloy ramps, led lights, 2 pack paint. :bunny:

    • I finally figured this out. That green part, can actually be pushed out. Mine was on the wrong angle because I messed around with it. So what needs to be done is the clockspring to be removed (the loom can't be removed so you need to pull the cable towards you to remove it off the shaft then let it rest on something so it's not dangling) Then you just make sure that the 3 green dots form a triangle and that the 3 holes on the steering wheel inserts into the 3 holes on the green part (you need to push out the green part to do this otherwise you'll keep having the issue with the indicators not cancelling)

    • Oh very very true ! I'm honestly thinking about taking my entire R33 series 3 red stitch GTR interiour out of my car, selling it and buying a small house !  I spotted as pair of R400 GTR seats on GumBay on the interweb and they were asking around the 12K mark !
    • A few pop up now and then, but you're right, definitely not as often or as cheap as it was back then. Even non GTR seats are a joke these days, pretty sure you could have gotten one for a zinger box or pack of Winnie blues.
