hey Pete would you be able to take a photo of your brake master cylinder on the GTR and post it up?

Just need to have a look at it before i put mine in.

Thanks Luke

Luke I just went outside and it's too dark for a decent pic so I'll have to wait for daylight bud, sorry.

so does that mean all BP's are no longer the best when it comes to premium fuel??

I definitely don't want that yellow stuff again!!

Nardi wheels IMO look budget...

like something id expect to see on an arcade machine

im going to rape both of your bottoms with a nardi wheel for saying that!!!

not my nardi, ill use lukes. his is still in plastic :3some:

i've always thought the momos looked like arcade wheels

the nardi wheels reminded me of classic italian roadsters... part of the appeal to me really, considering I like the 32 gtr cause its curves are like a late 60's italian car but with 90's tech....just need to get my wheel retrimmed

when i used to drift all i wanted was a thinner then stock circle wheel without all those ugly cures and those gay square shaped ones just never spun right thats the only reason why i went nardi. was going to go the deep corn center but i couldnt justfy spending so much on a steering wheel but that was a few years ago im guessing theyve dropped in price

the cars no longer auto btw haha

Axle tramp = combination of bad subframe bushes, bad shocks and tyres.

Subframe bushes made the largest difference with second being shocks. Following new shocks my tramp disappeared completely.

Tyres can have a large influence also.

Clunky sounds will be drive line slack. Mine clunks but has done ever since I went a solid button clutch.

the shocks are in really good condtion, tyres are only cheapies as im getting new rims hopefully but they still have at least 90% tread.

where about should i go to get my subframe bushes checked and replaced?

ive only got a extream heavy duty organic clutch, is the clunking doing any damage to the drive line at all? theres a whining sound coming from 1st 2nd and 3rd as well almost like stright cut or dogbox style whine.

thanks cubes

Unleaded wether it be 91 or 98 octane should be a purpley colour.... i do know that that crap ethanol high octane shit can sometimes be a yellow colour and if not tuned specifically for it will make your car run like sh1t or even worse eat away any seals in your fuel pump :/

my old man works @ mobil birkenhead and said 91 should be pink and 98 a copper colour

Been using Mobil premium hi octane for the last 6 months. definate improvement over the equally rated BP premium hi octane. now i know why

hrm. i still pay $1.58pl while others are paying $1.42 for std but its worth it

-D

thats the 9600 yeah? i wonder if that's why my fuel isnt lasting as long now :P

Mine were leaking silicon looking stuff all over my drive way.

Any work shop. Shaun @ boostworx are very well priced as they have done quite a few so has it down pat.

They are fairly easy to do yourself. Drop the subframe drill/smack out the old bushes, smack in the new. Bolt it all up. Will take a little less than a day for a backyard mechanic in and out.

The gearbox.. sounds fairly normal for a rb20t box thats been given a hard time. They all experience input shaft whine.

HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO ALL THE DADS ! :/

thank god im not a dad yet :P lol

Thank god I am a dad. :P

You have no idea what your missing. :D

I don't think Kellie is in the mood to be helping people for a while. Perhaps give her a break and allow her to volunteer to assist. :/

hey Carl, I looked for your guys along South Rd but couldn't see you (where you behind or in front of me?) so I pretty much hammered it before the ignition broke down again outside the Tonsley pub, just before Mitsubishi. Played with the wiring for about an hour and got it running through back streets for about 1/2 km before calling for a flatbed. The poor RAA dude was too scared to strap it down so I had to do it for the baby.

By the way, what colour should 91 & 98 octane be?

I drained the fuel last night and it was bright yellow?!

fishpaste~ and i were behind you, must have missed you on the side of the road (dont know how :P ) could have got a tow rope, and taken you back to your place water ski style :/

i have a momo wheel on mine, and i think the stock steering wheel was so much better. i reakon ill be selling the momo off and getting the stock wheel retrimmed and back on

245s all round, rears are fine, no rubing, fronts rub over every bump....

im just gonna sell the 25s and get 20mm....should minimize the scrubing a liitle :/

ah damn, not good to hear mate. you could go wider vented style front guards?

oh also ive got massive axel tramp! anyone know whats the best way to deal with it.

i had this too. i bought some alloy collars and it stopped the tramping completely, some people will dissagree with using alloy bushes on street cars, but its worked fine for me

Yeah, we got WAY behind you at south rd/anzac highway intersection... can't quite weave threw cars like you can =P

We could see you up ahead, but I though you had safely turned down daws road, and we continued down south road... probably should have swapped phone #'s
