R33 tank is 65Lt its my understanding that once the fuel light comes on there is 15lt left in the bottom of the tank it may be 8lt i cant remember, i know i read it in my manual though

Very nice. That means I had 14L left and did 478KM including some spiritedly driving! Thats pretty damn good economy :D I was freaking out thinking the cars going to conk out somewhere in the hills haha

so, in perth at the moment. went to the air race today, was fairly awesome aside from the long amounts of nothing in between shit. and goddamn perth has some pretty harsh sun, im pretty burnt up, lol.

^ so you did decide to piss off for a bit with that car money Dave. I got booted from the cas :D

got my new rims...

hmmm lets say anyone keen for some mexican?

They doon't look too bad fitment wise. Is that with the suspension compressed? Even if it is, you could probaby get away with some nice tyre stretch and a bit of camber. If the suspension is hanging in those pics, I dare say the camber from loading it up + a stretched tyre will have those fitting fking brilliantly.

Either way a guard roll will be needed though :)

Haha thanks guys.

Nah he didn't wash it down with a Paley - but he is always trying to get his lips around a beer. Like father, like son I suppose.

Let me tell you though - after he finally came down from his sugar high he slept like a log last night :D

went on the Nissan Silvia Just Drive cruise, and had this happened to my mate (i was the passenger)...

As I was leaving the car park I was following the black 34 who decided to chuck a massive skid, cuttin a blind corner on fifteenth st, then he snapped it back sidewayz around the corner, spun out and was millimeters from hittin a stoby pole. Then he pulled another massive skid and drove off so i followed him thinking that he was goin on the cruise. After 3 minutes or so of following the dude i realised that he wasnt goin on the cruise. At this point i was lost, so i pulled over to have a look at the map and i realised that we were goin in the opposite direction to everyone else. So i turned around and tried to find my way back and got lost again. I cant bloody believe it! I was so frustrated that I ended up goin home.

just wondering who this hero is as he had an SAU sticker...

you know its ppl like that thats giving the rest of us a bad name...

hey guys just need to vent a little

my boyfriend Dante of 2 weeks went away for "work" without telling me he was going, and then i find out that while we were together he took some chick out off face book to lunch then after 3 days of not talking to me cause of "bad reception" he sends me a sms breaking up with me because lachlan is a big problem. when i got home yesterday there was a really nice email saying i need to get super model looks and loose weight so i can wear the bikini he has picked out for me and clames we were still together, so this is what i find today on his face book

    • Thanks Murray, appreciate the advice, a few things to think about now 😀
    • After my million questions, I'll throw in my 2c now.  If I was in your shoes, I would buy the best/most modern ECU available. A Nexus S3 would fit the bill. It is highly likely that this ECU will last the life of the car, regardless of whatever ECU manufacturers develop in the future. Modern ECU's are amazing and will still be amazing in 10 or 20 years time. If you can get e85 relatively close to where you live, I would buy a flex sensor and size the injectors to run e85. I'd go a Walbro 525 fuel pump with relay wiring kit.  Turbo wise, I'd hit up HyperGear and get a pair of the biggest bolt on turbos.  Now for the safety side of things, I'd have the tuner setup the tune to be very soft/safe on 98. Then on the flex tune, a lot of the timing can be put back in on the top end (I'd run full boost on both tunes, but manipulate the power with the timing). This also has the benefit of hopefully delaying the, "bored now, need more boost" that comes with owning a modified turbo car. If you spend most of your time on the 98 tune, the few times your on e85 will hopefully stay special/fun.  The bad news. As your paying for labour and tuning, I don't think this will happen with $10,000. This might be the motivation to learn to do it yourself though, that way instead you'll have the built car and change from the $10,000
    • Cheers Duncan, on club reg and very much a weekender, don't drive it all that hard and don't intend to go overboard at any point in the future too. In my 40's and quite mature driver, just want that little bit more from it 😉 Sounds like, after ensuring everything is in good condition, ECU, Injectors, Fuel Pump and a set of turbos is likely to be my path forward.
    • 15 years is not too long to hold onto something like that, right?
    • Hey man,   By any chance you still have sunroof for sale ?   Thanks
