lol yeah TPG even have crap speeds my son is with TPG in canberra and on the adsl 2+ and only downloads at about 300k whilst im on extreme cable and getting 2500k

only thing is he has huge down load limit i get 12gb and my uploads are counted about time telstra gave us 25gb or something

tpg adsl2+ here, and i dont really see any difference in speed from normal tpg adsl i had b4 :S maybe time ti change...

Well Steve my Interweb speeds are all over the shop

I have ADSL1+ (as I am on a RIM so can't get ADSL2 even though I am a whole 7km from the city and under 1km from my exchange).

Mostly I run at about 2.5Mb (as I am when I tested now), but check this out from a few weeks ago:

You read right - slower download than upload - 136kb/s - just over double the speed of dial-up - and I pay $100 a month for the privilege.

I often test at under 1Mb/s, even though I changed from ADSL1 1.5Mb/s to a 'faster' plan (where they won't guarantee a minimum speed). Joy. Not.
