Putting New Turbo On

im changing my r33 turbo for another r33 turbo coz my one broke. what do i have to do once its al bolted up. like to get the oil throught the new one or whatever.

unplug the ignitor pack and remove the fuel pump fuse. crank the car over for a bit say 30sec to 1 minute and you should be right to go

Might not even take 30 secs. Mine was hammering oil through after about 5-10 secs of cranking just with the CAS plug taken off.

So either of those methods will work for what you need

if you do an oil + filter change before the new turbo goes on it will take around 20-30secs of cranking before you see oil pressure.

if not, then its as nismoid says.

you have to crank then release to get a reading back off the standard oil pressure gauge.
