hey i want to remove my stock bov and was wondering which pipes i should block, could i remove them all together.

in the picture could i remove that section of metal pipe and do i block off the left over pipes? the metal pipe comes out of the afm rubber intake pipe, would i just block the hole in the rubber pipe? really i want an answer of what i can and cant block.

alright what about the right angle pipe that joins onto my rocker cover feed where my catch can is hooked onto. could i block if off or rig it up to go back to my catch can as well

anyone someone must be running with out one?

ok look at the pic and see if it makes sense

1. take the bov off block it up

2 block off the hose at both ends

3 you can either block them off or use what the r33 use which is a hose that joins 3 to 4 to 3 again

4 is the hose that runs form each cam cover also block off the other number 4

5 block that off as well

in all honesty i would not block off the cam cover ones and the one into the plenum

some fella didnt design it just cause he thought it would look good it serves it purpose and look neat

i think he wants the dose??

hey mate thanks heaps i want to remove some pipeing and want to fit a strut brace soon but it will be in he way i am going to run with out one as i cant be bothered fitting one into my piping atm

don't block anything to do with the oil breather. if you do you will end up with oil sprayed all over you engine bay.

if you want to block of the bov and not run one just make up a plate to go in between the standard bov and where it bolts to. that way you don't get any vac leaks. or if you want to take it out, block off with a plate where it bolts to, block the 25mm vac hose that comes out of the bov and block the vacuum line that actuates the bov. there is no need to remove the black steel pipe.

guys, get a life.

its his car, he'll do whatever the f**k he wants to it.

if you want to block the bov off, take your BOV off and trace the shape of its flange and bolt holes onto a rolled out coke can. cut it out and shove it between the flange and the crossover pipe (where it sits) and tighten.

strut brace wont hit your bov. you should have plenty of room to fit one without removing anything.

i have an s13 with an rb20 in it every pic i seen with a strut brace has the bov blocked off becuase it is in line with the strut towers not unless u have an 13 with an rb20 running a stock bov and u have a strut braces ?
