So, january comes around and another influx of soldiers are on their way (including me) and some of us bring modded cars up.

How does the roadworthy test go in the NT? they sound fairly easy going from what I hear? Namely things like a full padded roll cage, possibly loud exhaust, coilovers and rear seats removed. Will any of these cause problems when trying to get a roadworthy? or is it just easier to keep it registered in VIC?

Thanks.

dude in all honesty if your only up in the nt for a bit just keep it vic..but if your here for any longer than about 6 months get it changed over but just be aware if you get a mvr guy thats had a bad day he might pick your ride...but if its neat and tidy and everything works...eg. seat belts lights horn windscreen wipers..you will have no probs:D

Hey mitch

When i got posted up here they picked my R33 to bits. Ride height too low (coil overs fitted), headlights aiming too low, window tint too dark!! and few other things. Saying this i know i was in the wrong, but not as laid back as you may think.

Cheers Luke

I'll be getting my new car in a few weeks (34 GTR) but I'm gonna take it back down to katherine and get it registered there. Its completely bog stock but you can never be too sure. you'll need to get a green slip then take it to the pits. but in katherine the pits is over at the weighbridge. They'll ask for you to get a rego inspection first then they just check your enginge number and vin. Voila! Darwin do the full shebang. stuff that.
