Thanks to the Police, Lions and the SES for donating their time for this... It was a great success to which we will try to make this a regular event in the near future. The Police that are helping to get this up and going are under a bit of scrutiny from a higher source, so congratulations to everyone for being good, with not one incident going down. At one stage there was just over 150 cars parked up ranging from old school metal to new school plastic, a favourite of the Police being the race Porsche with the roll cage. To the people that gave a bit of extra $$$ for the drinks, the PCYC thanks you. Also thanks to the really low cars for grinding off the extra lip on the bridge, access is a bit easier now.

As the Police said to most of you last night, next week will NOT be on and will do everything within their power to make it a regular event. A "presentation" will be made up with the pictures taken last night to prove that it was a success to their bosses. If you do turn up next week you will be told to leave by Police, please be patient, as it won't happen overnight. Also, don't ruin it by doing stupid shit in the car park while the Police aren't there. It will only piss people off and complaints will get back to the big bosses, then we lose the car park, and it goes back to Police handing out defects again. Thanks again for supporting this.

If you do see someone being a tool, I urge you to say/do something as it will affect a majority of people for a minority's mistake.

DO NOT TURN UP NEXT WEEK UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Keep an eye out for the next official Toombul meet :)

Cheers

Steve

    • I finally figured this out. That green part, can actually be pushed out. Mine was on the wrong angle because I messed around with it. So what needs to be done is the clockspring to be removed (the loom can't be removed so you need to pull the cable towards you to remove it off the shaft then let it rest on something so it's not dangling) Then you just make sure that the 3 green dots form a triangle and that the 3 holes on the steering wheel inserts into the 3 holes on the green part (you need to push out the green part to do this otherwise you'll keep having the issue with the indicators not cancelling)
    • Welcome back, If looking for a quality workshop AK Racing are the go to for everything these days. No fancy socials or attention seeking just quality work and good people. Can do everything from general servicing to full race builds that do very well at local and international events.
    • Let me know how much you're looking to get! Thanks.
    • Oh very very true ! I'm honestly thinking about taking my entire R33 series 3 red stitch GTR interiour out of my car, selling it and buying a small house !  I spotted as pair of R400 GTR seats on GumBay on the interweb and they were asking around the 12K mark !
    • A few pop up now and then, but you're right, definitely not as often or as cheap as it was back then. Even non GTR seats are a joke these days, pretty sure you could have gotten one for a zinger box or pack of Winnie blues.
