Mate of mine banged his 25 at Mallala recently and Ive offered to help steer him the right direction

just want to confirm my plan is on the right path

26 crank gonna try to find a 33 but if not 32 with mod crank collar (idea on $ for mod)

he wants N1 oil and N1 water pump (anyone got a idea on $ or $ for stock oil pump)

not sure on the oil pump due to the extra oil it may pump into the head if he doesnt do all oil flow mods suggested in massive thread

Im thinking he will only end up fitting the restrictors as I have 2 that I never fitted

stock 26 conrods (got some at work that arent doing much)

gotta use 26 pistons if using 26 conrods right?

so rb 26 HKs 86mm forgies be ok? ( $ for Aussie pistons ? $900+ right)

so he'll end up with

26 crank and rods hks forgies n1 water and oil pumps with tomei oil restrictors fitted in the head

:P

thanks for any help you can give

no need to run the 26 crank if his is okay (but if he does go for 33 crank don't bother with 32)... I have 25 crank with R34 26 rods + 26 Arias pistons + Total Seal rings... N1 oil and water pumps... 1.5mm restrictor in the block, other feed blocked off... high energy circuit sump... oil cooler... won't be running the external drain as mentioned in SK's thread but have cleaned up the oil galleries for better flow

I know the 26 cranks not needed but seems to be the done thing in Japan

although they use 34 gtr n1 1mm oversize pistons in most of there track 25 builds

after driving one and hear how it rev's Im trying to talk him into doing the same thing

thanks
