Custom Carbon Components and ccubed are one and the same.

Although I have heard and seen some great results from them, I have also been involved with a project that wasn't delivered particularly well by them, disappointingly as their workmanship appears to be great for some clients.

Topstage here in Melbourne do fantastic carbon work. They've just opened up a new shop, and look to be doing a heap of work on GT3, Sports Sedans and other top race cars: http://www.topstage.com/

Freddy the owner is a great guy to boot :P

Front lips in carbon do look good, but not really practical at all in my opinion. Very expensive part to damage considering it will be the first thing to go if you misjudge a driveway/come off the track etc Nothing beats rubber!

you have a point about it being impractical but i thought id give it a shot anyways...

I'd only run a fancy lower lip if you have a nice sturdy undertray snuggled in behind the return of the lower lip.

I run a custom one layer (yes, 1) fibreglass GTR style front bar on mine and it's weak as piss on its own, but quite sturdy once supported by the alloy undertray.

You can still easily chip the extreme lower edge of the lip, and it will stick out like you know what on carbon.

..... just sayin.

At least it's not so noticeable on fibreglass as it would be on carbon. I thought about one for the STi but went for the factory option lip instead and it's much nicer. It is however cracking the paint on the front bar in some spots from the forces put against it, but I can live with that.

I accidentally tapped a gutter when parking one day, and ended up with a few scrapes on it. If it was carbon it would have been destroyed!

agree on the carbon lip thing though. I have 3/4 of an R32 GTR carbon front lip at home that proves the theory. the other 1/4 is somewhere in the infield at eastern creek if anyone wants to fetch it for me.
