EVERYTHING BUT SHELL AND SUSPENSION / WHEELS IS SOLD!

UPDATE - If anyone is interested in the car with a standard motor / gearbox for a lot lower price then let me know. Also can go even lower with a standard interior and wheels.

Hey all,

To give you a bit of history, i purchased the car about 2 years ago and drove it around for about a year. I then got defected for gauges and tires and things like that and decided to take my car off the road for a complete ground up overhaul. The result of it all was around $70000 spent and a car that is currently in a undriven condition with almost 80% of its parts brand new and replaced. It is currently in the shop at ATS (Allstar Tuning Systems) as the guys there were finishing off all the final stages of the build and preparing it to be back on the road. The sole reason i am selling the car is because i have had an offer of a R34 GTR come across which at this stage it to good to refuse. The specs of the car are as follows -

At the moment thats all i can think of, i know I've missed quite a few things and I'll add them at a later date. Almost all the parts here are brand new fitted to the car over the last year and literally never seen more use then being rolled off the tow truck into the shop. The paint hasn't even seen the sun for longer then an hour... This is a very painful sale as you can see, i've built this car with everything i've had over the last year and I'm selling it before i even get it back together and drive it. It's being sold in its current condition which is basically complete minus the engine / gearbox and interior being installed at the moment. However if the buyer wishs to do so I'm sure we can come to an arrangement about refitting and that kind of thing. The car is currently at ATS (Allstar Tuning Systems) the guys there performed all the rebuild work, the gearbox was done at TOP COG on the sunshine coast. Receipts are available for well over $50000 of modifications.

The guys at ATS will obviously vouch for the quality of all components as its all brand new. I am selling the car as a whole to begin with, if i have no luck i will sell off parts individually.

Please be patient with pictures, this has been a fairly sudden decision and as a result i do not have pictures of everything, i will post what i have to give you a good idea and add more later on. Feel free to call or SMS on 0419741040 my name is Ben. I am at work tomorrow and Sunday for most of the day so leave a voice mail message or text and ill reply. Alternatively PM me here for info.

I'm looking for around $35000, although i am negotiable so don't hesitate to throw me an offer. I will tell you now though, if you send me a ridiculously low or unrealistic offer your PM will be ignored.

These are the more recent pics

These are older, just to give you an idea of the bonnet and interior gauges set-up. It is before retrim and everything like that.

so, so, so good.. worth the cash :P no need breaking balls to build one from scratch :P

Thats exactly what i was hoping people would see! You don't realise just how much it all costs until you do it, this would be perfect for someone that wants a quick street / track car or a potential trophy winner. Saves you waiting months for everything to be built also... Thanks for the positive comment! :spank:

you can buy this or do what i did and do it from standard.. close to 25 - 30k later you have a fast r33.. with half the mods lol plus all the headaches along the way with PANEL SHOPS and MECHANICS... and PART SUPPLIERS..

Amen to that... i almost shot someone twice along the way, mechanics that do a good job and don't tell you just what you want to hear are hard to find. ATS was the most pleasant surprise i've had with the knowledge and honesty about the whole project and costs involved. They really know there stuff and the quality is second to none. Don't get me started on the panel shops...

    • I am currently going this route. I am curious how much horse power you put behind the cut bell housing? Collins was telling me I am going to crack it and bluh bluh bluh. Because I didn’t buy the custom fly wheel from him. I am looking for somewhere around like 500 hp
    • Forgot to mention that these are the before pics when I first got it!
    • Thanks @PranK for the updated member status, much appreciated! 👍🏼 Now, about those pics… Unfortunately I could only find ones that I took in the dark. I was soon to discover that underneath it wasn’t in the best shape, but it was mine and that’s all I cared about at the time 😆
    • Oh, and only having done this task yesterday, I've now driven the car ~60km since, and while it is hard to avoid placebo effect and confirmation bias, I reckon that some annoyances I had with the way the car has been behaving have improved. Which....kinda makes sense, I guess. If the bushes were really stiff and resisting rotation, they would have been contributing to the effective wheel rate. And if it was more so on one side (which it was, because one side was worse than the other) then.... you might imagine that the additional rate would be asymmetric, and potentially even different between compression and rebound. And so... the car has been twitchy at higher speeds - like freeway on ramps. It really shouldn't be. The wheel alignment is good and there are no (other) known problems elsewhere in the suspension. But at 90-100 on a long sweeping ramp, tiny steering wheel motions would make it feel like it wanted to rear steer. Quite nervous. At lower speeds it would heave about in a manner that it didn't use to. Didn't want to put power down, etc etc. Now...seems to behave better. Am going to have to concentrate on the various corners where it has exhibited weirdness, on the rare occasions when I can get a decent run at them without Methanial getting in the way in his D-Max/Ranger/LDV Van/etc.
