Fs: Rb25det Aem Ems Stand Alone New* Must*sell

Recommended Posts

I have a New AEM EMS For sale.

It is NEW, with box, papers, manual, disc..

Specs:

Installs In Minutes

Since the EMS is designed to work with your specific car, it can be installed in minutes without the need to modify your vehicle in any way. You literally just unplug your factory ECU and replace it with the EMS.

Plug & Play Technology - No Wiring Necessary

Each EMS part number has been designed with a specific car in mind, meaning it will plug in exactly the same as the factory computer it replaces. It uses no adapter loom or external jumper harness. It has been built with the same plug that your factory ECU came with.

Uses all the Factory Sensors

Every EMS application has been specifically designed and tested to use the factory sensors that your car already has. There is no need mount different sensors or attempt to install different crankshaft or camshaft trigger wheels. Of course, you can replace any sensor you want. With the AEM EMS, it's your choice!

Fuel Table Automapping

With AEM's new Fuel Automapping software, you can tune your engine in literally minutes! All you need is an accurate air fuel ratio input and then let the ECU do the rest. You have the ability to define the target A/F ratio at 357 different Load/RPM points as well as all the accuracy criteria. Automapping is included with every AEM EMS sold at no additional cost!

Base Maps Included

AEM always make available base maps to help you get started. They are what you need to start your car, get a basic idle, make you're A/C work and more. AEM actually put hundreds of hours into their base maps on stock cars and even drive them back and forth to work in traffic as final tests. But what about heavily modded cars? Put a Big Turbo on your Si?, How about a ProCharger on your Mustang? Check out the AEM Electronics Forum because AEM makes available all sorts of maps for most of the common modifications. AEM probably already has a map for you!

Programmable Traction Control

Finally a way to put that power to the ground. With AEM's programmable traction control, you can get the 60 ft times you need. No individual wheelspeed sensors are required and you get to program the allowable acceleration rates based on RPM and Gear. This is included with every AEM EMS sold at no additional cost!

Onboard 512kb Datalogger

No more racing with your laptop in the passenger seat! With our 15 channel, high speed internal datalogger, you can finally get the data you need to take it to the next level. With access to over 400 internal operating parameters and featuring logging rates of up to 250 samples/sec per channel and "loop" logging, you'll practically be buried in data! Additionally, the logger can be activated based on a cockpit switch, RPM, car speed, load or throttle thresholds. The supplied AEMLog professional data analysis package supports math channels, multiple file & channel overlays and histograms. Of course, if you want to race with your laptop duct taped to your roll bar, go right ahead because we also feature adjustable speed PC datalogging. Both loggers are included with every AEM EMS sold at no additional cost!

10 Cyl Sequential Fuel Injection

The AEM EMS features 10 sequential fuel injector drivers. Any injector can be configured to fire in any order at any time. Also, any injector can be configured to run as a fully sequential Staged injector of any size. No shortcuts here, the staged injectors are fully sequential and you can define exactly how much fuel they deliver via a 357 point Load/RPM table.

16 General Purpose Outputs

Tired of trying to decide if the ECU should control your Radiator Fan or your Fuel Pump? Well, there's no way you could use all the outputs available on the AEM EMS. With 16 dedicated GPO's you can activate most anything. Both Low Side (switched ground) and Hi Side (Switched +12v) GPO's are available. Each is activated based on user defined Load, Temp, TPS, RPM and Speed thresholds. Alternately, they can be activated by dedicated functions like "Fuel Pump", Cooling Fan", "Gear Dependant Shift Light", AFR Warning light" and so on. Not enough for you? well every unused Fuel (10), Coil (5), Stepper (icon_cool.gif and PW (2) drivers are also available as additional GPO's bringing the potential number of GPO's to a staggering 41. Think about the possibilities.

7 Definable Switch Inputs

Want a 2 step launch control?, want to control your A/C?, want a dry nitrous setup? Want them all at the same time? Well then, what you need are switch inputs, lots of them. The AEM EMS has 7. That's more than anyone else. It's more than enough.

Electronic Boost Control

You don't need to buy a piggyback boost controller ever again! The one that is included with the EMS at no cost is state of the art. It can drive the factory or aftermarket boost solenoids and can work with all boost levels. It can run in open loop (MBC mode) or full feedback with a 357 point boost target table. Not enough? how about a cockpit boost target override switch or having the boost target defined by vehicle speed? The EMS can do it all.

Soft Cut Rev Limiters

Utilizing user programmable stages, the EMS offers 5 distinct modes of rev limiter. With ignition retard, programmable partial cylinder cut of fuel and/or spark and full cut of fuel and/or spark, the combinations are limitless.

2 Step Launch Control

The EMS gives you the ability to define a secondary rev-limiter, commonly called a 2-Step limiter (Full Throttle, Clutch In, you use both feet, 2 step, get it?). With a user defined RPM value and Cut %, you have the ability to tune your launch to suit the track conditions. Additionally, with AEM's definable switch inputs, you can use the 2-step without the requirement of wiring in a clutch switch.

Wet or Dry Nitrous Control

With the EMS, you have the ability to fully control your nitrous system, either wet or dry. The EMS features two 357 point fuel and spark maps exclusively for nitrous. This allows you to add any amount of fuel and retard the timing in any way you like. Add to this the ability to monitor your bottle pressure (with optional sensor) and activate your bottle heater and you have the ultimate nitrous computer. All this control is included with every AEM EMS sold at no additional cost!

Definable Knock Control

There's a reason why all new cars come with knock sensors and there is no reason not to use them. With the EMS, you can. User programmable knock thresholds and full control on the quantity of fuel to add and/or timing to retard, the EMS allows you unmatched ability to use these sensors to their full potential.

Full Idle Control

With support for both PW and Stepper Motor idle bypass hardware, the AEM gives you the flexibility to tune your idle just like the factory. It features adjustable feedback rate, programmable hi idle, timing and fuel trims based on idle speed and more.

4 EGT Inputs w/Fuel Control

The EMS lets you hook up 4 RTD type EGT sensors directly to the EMS. You can log the data or set up a fuel trim based on your exhaust temperature. This gives you the safety to run big boost numbers and only add fuel as you need it.

16/32 Hybrid High-Speed Processor

Utilizing an advanced 16/32 bit hybrid processor by Motorola guarantees the EMS will always be one step ahead even under the most demanding operating environments.

    • You all are absolute legends! Thank you for helping me put this into context with your comparisons!
    • There's probably an underlying issue with the A/C system too. I recently fixed mine, now it's fully control by the Haltech and car's factory HVAC controller  Have a squiz here:
    • And by the way, I've also checked the ECU diagnostic numerous times and got a bad O2 sensor code and initially an Ignition Primary code, which is why I replaced the O2 sensor and all the ignition components (coil packa, plug and loom). No codes have been coming up lately despite the ongoing issue.
    • Hey pber13, unfortunately still no luck. At this point the following has been done with little or no success: - Spark plugs replaced, gapped to 0.8mm - Splitfire coilpacks installed to replace originals - Replaced Ignition Coil/Coilpack harness with a new genuine nissan one - New fuel filter - Replaced AFM/MAF sensor - Injectors have been thoroughly cleaned with an online flush (without removing) - Upper engine and inlet decarbed - blew tons of black smoke out, cleared the carbon deposits from the top of the engine and exhaust.  - IACV removed and thoroughly cleaned with carburettor cleaner - O2 sensor replaced with new and genuine one -  Smoke test revealed no vacuum leaks - Healthy compression test of 160psi across all 6 cylinders Overall the car does run a lot smoother now, no backfires between gear shifts like it did originally... but the rough idle when warmed up is still there. It may not even be a misfire but simply a rough idle. Seems crazy to me that so many people have had this issue and seemingly no one has gotten to the bottom of it, or at least never bothered to post if they did! Hope you have more luck than I did pber13, I'm at a point now where I'm just going to try to ignore it unless it gets worse. Would love to fix it but I've genuinely run out of ideas of what it could be.
