Tommo - you bought those rims of Alan here in Vic yeah??? Awesome looking rims, I'm almost tempted to paint my CE28N's the same colour as yours, but the bronze looks quite good and plus my LMGT4's are black anyway...

Is that a Nismo N1 rear wing with double blades?? or single blade?? Your car looks the goods, simple yet tough!!!! Similar look to what I've gone... Being a series 3 also makes a difference... I'm going to order the mirrors, I'm sold!!!!

GT-R32 - any pics of your car?????

Jack - Stunning.

This is one of my favs - a UK car. Has the interior retrimmed in leather as well. I think similar to the m-spec R34 leather set up.

It's one of a few that I think the 400r bar actually looks good on.

Cheers Bobby.

Yeah Ive seen pics of that car, its interior is just as good as the exterior!!!

Very tastefully done, was contemplating going the full 400R body kit a while back...

I think all the cheap 400R copies on gtst's that don't fit right has turned me off the 400R look... i just look at it and automatically associate it with that now.

Exactly. I normally can't stand it, but I think it looks quite good on the black one above.

It's the design of the bar as well though. All the little cut outs and different lines mean it's quite hard to get a clean look from it no matter if it's an orginal or copy. It looks messy, but the black hides some of lines.

My car looks like shit apart from the condition, it is stock but the missing front lip is bugging me right now... (was damaged by the previous owner). I'm collecting parts for my turbo swap and other bits and pieces. Wheels and suspenion will be last at this stage.

It's sonic silver like yours, but a S3 1997 model. I want the LMGT4s, but they don't come in black anymore! Love the Z tune bonnet too.

I also have a carbon N1 bonnet lip to be fitted, but haven't because I am unsure if I like the carbon look on the bonnet just yet. Carbon wing blade will follow. Have the Nismo B pillars dress things and the wing ends, and clear lenses. Otherwise it is basically as factory (including exhaust! - almost feel bad changing that as it is so rare), minus the lip.

Sounds like you've got big plans for your car!!! Hope it all goes well....

No doubt very clean and tough looking. However, looks like every other GT-R's out there... wouldn't call it a head turn imo.

But very nice, owner should be proud.

Ive seen this car in the flesh and it looks F#cking amazing. This is more than enough styling for an r33 GTR let alone any GTR, and looks very very tough and has been done very well. Putting extra wings, fenders and different skirts and bars on GTR's looks terrible and never looks as good as how it was originally designed. If people think a GTR needs extra wings to make it more of a head turner than they'd be better off with a lancer and a fake vielside kit, GTR's turn heads for all the RIGHT REASONS not wrong ones such as fibreglass hanging off them everywhere. I'd say they stand out quite a bit even when totally stock.

Other awesome r33 GTR's as others have mentioned are Ferni's and midnight purple one {vsp3c}

Just had a look at the car in the link.. it looks really tacky and the ugly kitting has only cheapened the look of the car, and the wing Holy crap... The gtr badge sould be removed they have already ruined so much of a good thing

I love the colour / rims / ride height, but the kit doesn't enhance any of those features I reckon. Anyway, I've just ordered clear indictors (front and side) for mine, as well as the Nismo CF garnish. Next up, painting the lip black and thinking about a CF bonnet (not sure on CF bonnet)...

R33 GTRs are weird....in photos, u gotta have a good angle, some angles make it look like a boat etc but some photos make it look absolutely INSANE!

for example,

that first picture, the side view, that is the hottest R33 GTR i have ever FUC**** seen. Thats wat the picture makes it look like!

Then u scroll down, and it just blows it. WORST.

If i was that dude id keep that first pic! dog the other pics yuk

    • Update: I got the magnet out. I bought 3 different flexible magnetic reach tools, but none of them worked. The magnet on the tip was all less than 2lbs of force, so i had to buy a special cylindrical magnet that had a pull force of 9lbs.  The magnet finally came in the mail yesterday, so i got under the car to get to work. The super strong magnet isn't that long, so i only have about 1 finger pinch lengths to hold it. I was so scared when i was going in the hole, that the 9lb magnet would just fly away inside the oil pan never to be seen again, but i had my butt cheeks clenched and finger gripped on that thing so tight, i managed to get it to suck the other magnet out.  It was a victory for me last night.
    • Yep, pretty much what you said is a good summary. The aftermarket thing just attached to the rim, then has two lines out to valve stems, one to inner wheel, one to outer wheel. Some of the systems even start to air up as you head towards highway speed. IE, you're in the logging tracks, then as speeds increase it knows you're on tarmac and airs up so the driver doesn't even have to remember. I bet the ones that need driver intervention to air up end up seeing a lot more tyre wear from "forest pressures" in use on the highway!
    • Yes, but you need to do these type certifications for tuning parts. That is the absurd part here. Meaning tuning parts are very costly (generally speaking) as well as the technical test documentation for say a turbo swap with more power. It just makes modifying everything crazy expensive and complicated. That bracket has been lost in translation many years ago I assume, it was not there.
    • Hahaha, yeah.... not what you'd call a tamper-proof design.... but yes, with the truck setup, the lines are always connected, but typically they sit just inside the plane of the rear metal mudguards, so if you clear the guards you clear the lines as well. Not rogue 4WD tracks with tree branches and bushes everywhere, ready to hook-up an air hose. You can do it externally like a mod, but dedicated setups air-pressurize the undriven hubs, and on driven axles you can do the same thing, or pressurize the axles (lots of designs out there for this idea)... https://www.trtaustralia.com.au/traction-air-cti-system/  for example.... ..the trouble I've got here... wrt the bimmer ad... is the last bit...they don't want to show it spinning, do they.... give all the illusion that things are moving...but no...and what the hell tyre profile is that?...25??? ...far kernel, rims would be dead inside 10klms on most roads around here.... 😃
    • You're just describing how type certification works. Personally I would be shocked to discover that catalytic converter is not in the stock mounting position. Is there a bracket on the transfer case holding the catalytic converter and front pipe together? If so, it should be in stock position.
