well, i m sorry i am the first to leave, but it was because i have to move to let the "organizer"s cars to get out and there were people who beepping at me in the back while i dont wanna cruze in the front, and i did not know which exit to take, that 's why i pulled over on the free way, i have no idea everyone else followed me and stopped....

i feel sorry about the few cars who lost from the main group and followed me all the way back to parra rd till they realized i was going home. lol

nice meet up but , since it s the first cruze in my s15.

SORRY TO HEAR GUYS THE CRUISE DIDNT GO TO WELL.

EVERY CRUISE I'VE ORGANISE HAS BEEN AWESOME, WITH PEOPLE MEETING NEW FRIENDS, AND EVERYONE ENJOYING THE DRIVES.

TWO SIMPLE RULES, FOLLOW THE LEAD CAR (NORMALLY MYSELF) AND I ALWAYS WAIT AFTER A SET OF LIGHTS. YES IT GETS FRUSTRATING AT TIMES, BUT THATS THE WHOLE POINT OF CRUISING TOGETHER.. iTS A NICE DRIVE, NOT A RACE.

HOPE TO SEE SOME OF YOU ON SUNDAY FOR THE WOLLONGONG CRUISE.

Firstly I will say sorry to those of you who managed to get caught up in the initial mix up, and therefore did not manage to make it to The Entrance. For those of you who did, thanx for a great night as it contained great company and nice cars.

Maybe we could have made the details of the route a bit clearer but for those of you who do not know how to get to the destination it is advised not to take off ahead of the group.

Also what I cannot understand is why people decided to leave from the meet up point, ahead of the organisers cars, and then stupidly decide to stop on the M4 potentially causing a major accident with both us but also innocent by-passers.

This has got to be the most reckless bit of driving I have seen in a while.

Again we are sorry for the inconvenience caused, but we hope to see everyone on the next cruise thats organised, and there will be a next!

Just one last point to touch on. This cruise was NOT a skylines Australia cruise as this thread was posted on several forums and therefore does not operate under their codes of conduct. All cars were welcome and as such they can not be told how to act on the road.

If this wasn't a skylines Australia cruise why was it posted in the events section? I don't care what kind of cruise it is, it was on public roads and everyone should abide by the law. We shouldn't have to tell people how to act on the road but I know there were a lot of hero's out that night and a friendly reminder that the route you are taking is on public roads and people should behave. And if you think that this wasn't a Skyline Australia cruise you can just keep them off the forums from now on.

Ahhhh...you have it the wrong way around mate.

As this cruise was posted on several forums it must abide by ALL their rules of conduct. That's completely idiotic to say it wasn't an SAU cruise and therefore 'we can all act like hoons'.

The leader/s of this cruise are responsible for the ENTIRE convoy. Period. You can't hold everyone's hand but it's your duty to set the rules down, which didn't happen from what you guys already admitted.

Glad most of you guys enjoyed the drive. Good luck with the next one :P

wtf is going on here. why our ppl who werent on this cruise winging for??i dont care who u r. u keep stuff 2 urself if u havnt got anything gud 2 say plz dont put ur 2cents worth in. and who r u talking about hereos. cause ur car is a nugget. i enjoyed this nite. there was no hero's out every 1 was giving a bit of hit and thats about it. dont tell me u havnt giving it a hate. anywayz the boys and girlz that were there thanks 4 making it a gud drive. hope theres more to come

    • Reasonably hard, although I haven't run it with the new Endless setup yet. The old brakes were F50's on 335mm rotors and the car did a 1:40.6 at Phillip Island which is a reasonable time, I'm seeing high 600s on the temperature paint. A guy I know ran the Endless fluid at WTAC without issues and he was doing 1:33's I think (Evo) with a 355/332 setup. I don't get out to the track as much as I'd like but we put the car on the hoist and spanner check every bolt and re-paint mark everything, bleed the brakes, change the fuel, check the coolant system and re-bleed blah blah blah before every event. Motorsport is expensive, RB's are expensive so a couple of hours before an event is time well spent. It's also a net time saving because if you can keep your RB from self destructing it saves you time in the long term!
    • Welcome Alice......hope you have a bit more luck from here on! What was done in the build?
    • Hello! I'm new here, I have an R33 GTST that is currently being finished up! Last year was pretty rough, blew two stock turbos so I decided to build the car. Has been down since November, but I get it back next weekend!
    • Hello, I believe my car was imported to America in the 2000s by Kaizo Industries. Would anyone be able to help me find more info on them? I've only found all the basic stuff like that paul walker bnr34, them being shutdown by feds, just stuff like that. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!
    • I am using Motec M150.  I am not working on the car myself actually.  My workshop is giving all these info, they are quite reputable in the industry and are very familiar with Motec and RBs and have done a few big setups with VCam and single turbo on RBs.  In fact, they built and tuned my engine from day one.  But they are stumped with my engine at the moment and cannot work out how come the compression is so low with the VCam. They told me that they have now swapped in some Kelford cams (without the VCam) and can achieve around 130psi compression and the low end torque is better, but now the engine is doughy as.  It boosts and peaks at more than 1000rpm slower, with twin HKS GTIII RS, it doesn't get full boost until over 5000rpm. I have always thought the VCam was a bit disappointing at the low rpm. To a point I had to ride the clutch a fair bit to get up a small hill from stand still.  That was when I had a clutch.  Now changing to a 8HP, I don't have that luxury and this problem has become a major issue. I am beginning to think the VCam never work since the day it was installed.  Maybe it was just sitting at the most advanced point, that is why it went good at top end but very ordinary at the bottom.  Therefore, with the help of the Holinger 6 speed and paddle shift, as long as it was moving, it drove pretty good.
