This Sub And This Amp

hey guys

i have a very low budget.

looking into buying this sub+box: Pioneer Q307D2BOX which is the TS-W307D2 Subwoofer $250 at strathfield

and the Jaycar - Response Car Amp 2x80WRMS - to be bridged @ 4ohm 14.4V: 200WRMS x 1

how would this be?

do you plan on upgrading your splits for mid bass in the future????

remember the sub is only as good as the amp powering it

maybe. the standard speakers have been replaced, they sound suprisingly good, running off the head unit, i just want some more bass.

should i either go for response amp 200rms bridged or 500rms bridged...the sub is 400rms

thoughts?

definetly the 500rms most brands rate their subs lower than they can actually handle so 500rms would be perfect for the 307. if you went the 200rms amp you would find the sub would lag. you won't regret it good luck with it mate
