32 Gtr Finally Arrived

I got my r32 GTR on friday and im loving it such a nice car to drive but im trying to be nice to it since it's freshly rebuilt, Sounds really tuff and goes pretty hard considering it hasnt got to many bolt ons yet.

Except i was looking under the bonnet on the drivers side and some things leaking looks like its the hose to the power steering pump. its squirted out oil onto the strut tower.

Can anyone help me out has this happened to anyone else? Also how long should i run it in for?

I have purchased some R33 N1 turbos for it i thought since its got a built bottom end i might as well use it.

I have noticed my motor is a little bit more noisy than my friends gtr, does forged pistons make it a bit louder than one with standard pistons?

I still have the GTST but going to the GTR is a big difference i think im in love.

since i think my power steering fluid is leaking should i switch it to RWD through the torque splitter?

Forged pistons are slightly rattly upon start up untill they are upto operating temp/expansion. You should not notice it once the engine is up to temp though.

yeah it quietens down once it warms up

the high-silicone types wont really rattle at all, if you were to rebuild it as such

there cp pistons 40 thou over are they normally noisier.

also my oil pressure gauge isnt working properly but i have heard the senders are shit so might have to put an aftermarket gauge and sender in to be on the safe side

My current car and my last car both have CP forgies and they both rattle upon start up. High silicone pistons also known as hypereutectic are weaker than forged in general.
