hehe hmmm...

Was watching Lifesupport on SBS... classic show... anyway... for those that don't watch... they like giving out sound life advice unlike the crap you see on commercial tv....

this one was on how to avoid those nasty demerrit point things...

and No... it doesn't involve driving slowly...

Just pay your fine. Send them a cheque... give em a tip... say an extra $10 or so... now... they will send you back the ballance as another cheque... BUT... you won't get your points dopped until you cash that cheque... so... just... don't. ;)

can anyone confirm or deny this one???

In VIC you have to pay to request a copy of your points, and you have to pay $25 or so for the privelege.. its screwed.

otherwise they send you a nice little (free) reminder letter when you get to 6 points, and another 9 points.. how do i know this? i just do ...

just checking here.. this is what Vicroads says anyway

A fee is required for Demerit Point record information such as:

Listing of demerit points

Demerit points history

Offence details

No fee is imposed for verbally supplying a demerit points total.

So yup, guess u can get it over the phone, didn't know that actually..
