As the weather is getting very hot and ive been relying on my GTT intercooler running 171kwrw with roughly 10.8psi boost level but everything including exhaust is all stock. Im wondering if its safe enough for my car to run on 10.8 psi with no front mount in such a hot weather but not thrashing as much but maybe once in a while.

I also understand it may be more relevant to how much kwrw rather than boost level but incase i wanted to confirm with you guys...

Im concerned especially because after i gun it on 10 psi, it gets REAL hot under the bonnet around the intercooler area...Am i supposed to just expect this with standard gtt intercooler? because its not like i trash it all the time...

Yes its fine. Plenty have before you... although still running a factory exhaust with the added boost really isnt smart.

It will lead to increased temperatures due to the horrid back pressure your car will be under.

Any car will get hot if you give it a hiding, turbo's generate heat!

As above, its fine to run 10psi on stock cooler. its supposedly good for 200rwkw anyway. Truthfully at that psi your car will run like crap in hot weather, two options.

Get a FMIC

Get your rear window sprayer feed, disconnect it from the water motor, connect new hose to a new sprayer, mount it in the front bar infront of cooler. Use this to cool ur fmic - will prob be a DIY on here.
