Does anyone know if there is a better price for the DS2500 pads for a 32 GTR nissan calliper? I have seen them for $296 (f) and $260 ®.

Is there anyone that can do better?

Are you specifically after the DS2500? There's ALOT better pads out there for the money. EBC, QFM, TRW Lucas for starters...

Can you be a little more specific on which pad from these companies? When i was researching pads many said that the EBC reds (which are pitched at about the same level as the 2500s) were an inferior pad at about the same price.

ds2500 used to be a good bang for your buck pad, the price seems to have increased recently from ~250 to closer to 300. You may as well order some project mu HC+ 0-800 pads from nengun for 225 these days if you don't need them straight away. The price of these has come down a lot lately.

Sounded like a bargain, until...

NB: A1RM is not suitable for street use!

So maybe they're more like DS3000s (at 780 degrees, they probably are) in which case they are still a bargain track pad, as DS3000s are $350+!

Who sells the QFM A1RM?

BTW tried the much hyped DS2500 once myself, not as good as Ultimates as far as taking punishment goes. Big dollar ripoffs.

That's what I can't understand... At about 600 degrees, they're no better than TRW Lucas or Green Stuff, and ON PAPER only marginally better than Ultimates or QFM HPX... Yet people seem to think they have to spend big money on pads. I find it funny that most people who rate DS2500 (or even to a lesser degrees, Ultimates), can't even tell you what brake fluid they're running, which is always the weakest link first...

The only pads I've run in my Z, aside from stock, are DS2500s and now Endless CC-X. I've found the DS2500s to be excellent, and at their temperature limits far better than the CC-X pads.

I know people who've done track work on the DS2500s and EBC pads in their Silvias, and hate the latter.

FWIW, I use Motul RBF600. :)
