Rough cost for a 20ft container to fit a single car is about $2,500. Not sure about the costs of a 40ft container, but there's an increased risk of damage to the cars if they shift in the container during freight (not sure how common it is but I've seen it happen).

Check out other threads in this section for costs. The costs can vary depending on the car and what scheme you are importing them under.

this may seem very, very obvious but the people most qualified to give you pricing on containerised freight from japan are the shipping companies. also don't forget to add loading costs, unloading costs, other local charges etc.

it's a heck load cheaper to just use a drive on drive off carrier. much safer and much more convenient and MUCH more modern.

if you want parts just stuff them in the boot and the interior... but don't expect to keep them when the car arrives cos dock workers work there for a reason...

...to steal shit.

which is even more risky in a seatainer

under da sea tainer

under da seatainer

down where it's better down where its..... you get the idea..
