Yawn
Depends on which model I would say. But personally, brand wise, id prefer Federals. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/189872-nangkang-v-federal/#findComment-3420771 Share on other sites

evil_weevil
595's are better, however they both come in different sizes. So depending what size rims you have its hard to say! GorGasm
Nankangs are a very poor tire. Federals arent that great but i would definately pick them over nankangs. I have seen many sets of nankang NS2s blow out their sidewalls. Xmetal
Federal user here, been a good tire thus far and the wear is good. I asked for a harder compound though as I do the odd bit of towing here and there. Tangles
before you pay $790 for that set get a price for Hankook Ventus K104... same price awesome tyre, far superior to Nankang without doubt cant comment with Fedral never tried them. The Ventus K104 is the shitz ..... 235/40/17 for $190 each and Im using R34GTT mags edit: ahh 18's my bad. hhmm price the K104's anyway =D Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/189872-nangkang-v-federal/#findComment-3421768 Share on other sites
66yostagea
I've got 595 0n 17's. Wear is OK. 33k at present, on the rears. Got about another 5k . Cant tell about the fronts, as a dodgy tie rod end scrubbed them out. I find them a bit noisy though. Maybe I was just spoiled with the Dunlop Formula W10's that were on my car when I bought it... they were clearly a few years old and but it felt like the front end was glued to the road. F*ck they were noisy though. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/189872-nangkang-v-federal/#findComment-3421813 Share on other sites
oxford1327
had federals on my stagea when i got it and they were lucky to last 30,000klms. they are crap and if you really want a decent tyre go for michelin all the way. i switched and man what a difference in ride, so much smoother and quiet to boot!!! just my 2 cents Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/189872-nangkang-v-federal/#findComment-3422120 Share on other sites
jippa
these are being fitted as part of sale as im buying through motivation over in qld.. got the price wrong 720 for the set and went for feds as they seem to be the popular choice Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/189872-nangkang-v-federal/#findComment-3422380 Share on other sites
WazR32GTSt
i ran nankang NS-II on my R32 with 18s for ages low noise good grip in dry and wet i don't see what's so bad with them on my V35 i have yokohama 18" tyres and i don't think they're that much better Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/189872-nangkang-v-federal/#findComment-3422442 Share on other sites
