Thats the beauty of dial in times.

I can nominate my lap time as say 1:56. If my quickest lap time is say a 1:55 and worst a 1:59, then that gives me a 4 second window.

Whoever ends the day with smallest window gets the yellow jersey. That way all us stock folk can compete with modded folk.

Plus it would be a good idea to drop the slowest 10% of laps to allow for lap traffic This ensures we all dont go mad trying to win and whereby bump up the level of risks we are taking in traffic.

the GTR made it's Bathurst debut in 1990 however failed to get a placing within 10th. ( I think it didn't even finish if my memory serves me correctly).

in 1991 it won the race

in 92 it won by default as it was in the lead when the race was called off
