Help - Fog lights

Hi guys,

I have an r33 series 1 with teh m-spec front bar.

I have no idea how the fog lights operate. I have tried every button, switch etc with no luck.

Do I have to hook them up to the driving lights?

Any help would be much appreciated.

I have heard from others that some series 1 cars do not have the fog lights hooked up. Check that there are bulbs there and wires going to them

yeah mine doesn't turn on at all .. even if there is no bulb in there .. can u still put one in easily?? maybe some ricey blue lights will do the trick

if you have a look at the light assembly, you will notice the clear section is not as wide as the orange part. i think it was an option to have foglights. the series1's with foglights, have the clear section, the same width as the orange part (or ever slightly wider)... heres a pic

you will notice that the cars without fog lights will have the orange section taking up most of the assembly.

yep its true mine dosent either....you can put some cool blue or white leds in there or drill the hole if you want strong lights...but you can do it..

yeah it can be done, just probably need to put a globe in there, i havent had a look behind it.

hippy ive drawn a circle around the 'indicator/blinker' part, its got a bit of clear in it, but it's seperated by the other empty section

so what you are say (quite simply) is that all i have to do is put a bulb in there and it'll work?

on my indicator/light stalk I have a driving/fog light switch similar to the rear wiper switch on the other stalk.
