Chris_R33GTSt
So I had a really crap day, and the little red light had been on for almost 100km. I stopped at my local servo and they had no 98RON Premium (Damn you Mobil). I filled up 10L of 95 RON Premium, just to get it to the next servo. Could this potentially cause any damage to my engine which is stock apart from a 3" HKS Catback and untuned SAFC2? (I have been careful to drive predominately off boost) Edited October 20, 2007 by Chris_R33GTSt Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/190040-95-ron-in-stock-boosted-series-2-r33-gtst/ Share on other sites
dmr
it won't really cause damage but these cars are designed for running higher octane than 95. 95 will also clog your system and leave deposits in the injectors and lines. R31Nismoid
It will be fine as a once off. If you dont plant the foot, and just cruise around in it - no worries at all. No need to stress. adam-__-
Yeah, don't worry, if you don't thrash the car while on it, your engine should be fine.
