I can guarantee that there is no CCTV within the car park. The only CCTV on that site is on the exit booths so the control room operaters can identify if there is a problem with the ticket machine.

The CCTV is not positioned to capture a view of a person driving out in their vehicle.

The statistics for that carpark will amaze you, there are around 5-6 cars broken into a day plus the occasional stolen vehicle (weekly). Hell there was even a bomb let off in the basement corridor on the bottom level prior to APEC (little one moved the concrete reinforced and surrounded walls about an inch and shook the carpark).

Oh reason I know all this is because my company provides security to this site. There is no security constantly on site, only carpark operators (some have security licences). Dont rely on that carpark for any information in regards to your car.

Looked at the footage of my car being stolen, and there was an R33 that tailgated my car out of the parking lot, called police, but that car was stolen too!! Found it on the forums R33

harbourside is a dodgey area, i stayed at a hotel just opposite harbourside and i came down in the morning to find that my bonnet had been opened on my old skyline obviously looking to hotwire the car... my alarm scared them off luckily!

not good to hear...
