Can't Start

Dear All, my car can't start today, therefore, i asked my friend to lent me batt to try. Once linked to my friend's batt, my car's lamp is on. I've checked the switch, it is at off position.

I think it must be the lamp made my car out of batt. However i don't know why the lamp is on automatically. Please help. Many thanks!

Are you talking about your parker light?

Did your car start after the new battery? Did you turn off your immobiliser? Do you have NRMA?

There are FOUR corners on the car. And each has a lamp.

yeh the parkers can flatten the battery if you forget to turn it off.

the front coner lamp (white one, not orange lamp) is on when i connected the battery, however, the switch is at off position

Have you accidentally hit the switch for the foglamps? It's a push button, right next to the switch for the headlamps. Your tail lights should be on as well.

(I'm figuring you don't have foglamps, but there is still a switch there, for when you do)

Is the push botton at the stick? or located at bottom of dash?
