Efi Fuel Hose

Seems to be large variation in grades and price.

On ebay they are selling CODAN EFI hose that only meets SAE 30R7 for EFI.

I was under the impresison SAE30R9 should be used with EFI.

The local parts stores sell one by "exe hose" It has printed on it "EFI hose" but nothing about the SAE standards it passes.

Exehose is about $10/m - another place wanted $27/m for the stuff that is SAE30R9.

Anyone know places that sell the SAE 30R9 fuel hose cheap? In sydney thanks

Just had a look in supercheap. Their EFI hose is also this codan brand and only got SAE 30R7 on it!!

Are they incorrectly markering this as EFI hose?

Basically. EFI hose is EFI hose. Shouldn't matter what SAE rating it is manufactured to. And who's to say what the difference in SAE standards is anyway (might be simply a different plasticiser used in the rubber).

Think I've found a good supplier. I want to get the hose that meets the SAE 30R9 rating. Some of these cheap hoses seem a little dodge.
