my first was a "GTS Type S V Selection II"... its a mouthful

RB24S is the carby 2.4L engine so S is for carburettor, E is for electronic injection. The GXi came with a CA18i (not DE) which had a dizzy.

Yeah Mark ya right...

RB is the series of engine

20/25/26/30 is the capicity of the motor

D = Double over head cam

E = EFI

T = One turbo

TT = Twin turbo

Thats basiclly it, the carby only appeared on the 2.4 litre version of the rb20 as Shan said...

Also you should be aware that when the R31 came out there were a few brought out by Tommi K called M30's

These were the first nissan hybrid engine, it was an Rb30 bottom end and an RB20 head, non turbo, first double over head cam Rb30 made back in 1986/7... :)

I didnt use Google Marki, Im a true Nissan Skyline buff...

Id expect 50% of the users of SAU to know what I posted of the top of their head, its sorta common knowledge.

(Apart from the M30 bit, i used to be a R31 know it all before I could afford something newer)

I find it funny that you say your a mechanic and yet you dont know your nissan motors.

Maby you should use google first before posting as it might help make you look like you knwo what your talking about.
