ok so i've been looking around for a r32 gtst..

and since when did some r32 gtst's have 4 wheel steer

i appreciate what 4 wheel steer is and that there is a gtst 4 which is 4wd

but yeeh..

im kinda lost can some one less novice explain this,

its killing me haha

HICAS tilts the rear wheels a couple of degree's when travelling at speeds above 80km/h for better handling (this can be debatable)

Dont get it confused with other 4wheel steers (such as on preludes) which are used as parking aids.

when looking at buying a r32, generally would you consider 4wheel steer as a good thing or a bad thingg?

i think you'll find that they all have it......not sure if the gts have it though. some people think it's good and some people don't like it so get a loack bar.

HICAS is easy to remove, a little more fiddly in a 32 as you have to cut power steering lines. I put a lockbar in a few weeks ago then when we had the engine out last week, I removed all the crap in the engine bay and to the back of the car. Looped the pump back into the resevoir and all is sweet. Car is much more predictable and a pleasure to drive :whistling:
