I used a bottle cap for my flutter mod. Worked flawlessly for more than a year. When I finally removed it before trading in the car, it was a bit deformed and black from heat but was otherwise OK.

cable ties CAN be ghetto!

wrapped them in heat tape and they held my exhaust on for a while

point taken that is straight up ghetto!!

mate wif an s13 installed his bride bucket using a fence as a rail replacement!!

Cable ties holding... front bar and around my boost guage in the drivers side air vent, its wrapped around so the guage dont fall behind the dash.

Awesome stereo install...head unit only comes on when lights are on.

pvc downpipe for CAI(work in progress)

cable ties are the best mod ever on cars - fix anything!

;)

umm...I think the most ghetto mod Ive got is an old intake pipe from my old LS1, which of course, is cable tied on, from front bar to up to my pod

not really that ghetto but close enough :)

*not in my skyline* but in my old cars i had LOADS of dodgey things going on, worst/best of all tho was the 2x4 in my rear passenger side door of my old lancer that held the window up, only held it to as far as u could put ur arm in, to hold it up the rest of the way i used gaffa tape and stuck it to the roof(on the inside of course). also the ignition in the car was broken so i had a turbo timer!! (well, u could start the car and take the key out with it still on so i could leave the car on, lock the door, run into the shop etc etc looking like i had a turbo timer lol)

thats like my friends commondoor took me for a drive whilst driving decided to tell me to hold his car keys and chucked em on my lap LOL

it gets funnier, i didnt no any of this wen i bought the car(it was only $800). i installed my stereo in it the day i got it rite and thot it was really odd cos even wen i turned the car off the stereo would still let me turn it on and off, then after a few days i had to roll start the car, then again the next day, for about a week, so i went to strathfield and told them i couldnt get the wiring rite and left the car with them, wen i got back they politly informed me that my wiring was perfect(but the still rewired it and charged me) and the problem was that i wasnt turning the car off, but the keys still came out, hence the clock being left on and my batt running flat every nite. it was the first car id owned where u had to push the key in further and an xtra turn to turn the car completely off lol

A LOOOOOONG time ago.... I used PVC for my cold air intake! It used to stick out the front bumper and of course it was held on by cable ties. It looked really ghetto but worked great. I was actually seriously considering using PVC for all my intercooler piping until I got laughed at so many times by mechanics after I asked their advice on it and I kinda went off the idea...

this ait a ghetto mod....but me and my mate were working on his s14 and i was installing his feul pump witha smoke in my mouth and we blocked the holes with pencils snd sticky tape :D
