It was a good day despite the fact that the track had NO grip at all. Guess that big storm washed all the rubber away.

Although I must say I much prefer 3 lap sessions to 20min session. I spent over half of my track time cooling the car down rather than driving fast and most other people (at least in my group) were doing the same.

Hi all, I am glad you all had fun. We made the session 20 minutes to try and give everyone plenty of track time, too much by the sound of it! lol

I am considering the next one maybe have in 15 minute sessions instead of 20 minutes. Which for someone around the 1:45 is about 7-8 laps.

We got a few extra sessions in because there was not many break downs on the circuit, 2 tows for the day.

I will let you all know when the next on is on!!

Cheers

Adam

Thanks for organising the day Adam!

I have to agree with Snowman re: the length of the sessions - 15 mins would probably be a better format.

I was surprised with how little grip there was out on the track - must've been all the rain that there was recently.

Oh - and I need new pads... Anyone got any ideas where to pick up the Ferrodo's from?

Cheers,

matt

Yeah thanks for organising the day. It's one of the better run track days i've been to in a while.

I also agree 20min sessions was too long. Tyres and brakes overheating in that time. I like the idea of 1 warm up lap, 3-4 flying fast laps and 1 cool down lap.
