What Type Of Oil To Use?

hi i have a r33 gtst making 230kw atw and its time for an oil change. I just wanted to know whats the best oil to use. Ive been told 15w/30 semi synthetic. Is this the best or if not what do you recommand. Thank you

I use Motul 8100, as long as its FULLY synthetic most oils will be fine.

Basically you want a API SL or SM grade oil, 5W-40 viscosity. The latest Mobil1 synthetic is supposed to be pretty good (I've yet to try the 5W-50 myself). And I've been recommend the Castrol Edge 5W-40 (or 60).

Any of the "name" brands should suffice.

MOTUL 8100 is a little to thin i would say.

yeh i use motul, good stuff, the 300V comp. could be a overkill unless your doing alot of trackwork, and its almost double the price of other good oils.

mmm motul 300V chrono is sufficient pretty good oil ! hmmm but next time read the good on oils !
