Fuel In Melb

Hey

Anyone else found that all Mobil's are out of 96 and 98, and the BP near where i am house sitting in geelong is out of 96 but still has ultimate... Does anyone know what is going on?

The BP near me in Berwick has been out of Ultimate for 3 days

I over heard some truckies talking that diesel was running out too due to some driver strike or similar. Perhaps this could be why?

I filled up with Mobil 98 last night...

local mobil's out of 8000 (their 98 octane stuff) fuel as well. local BP seems to have Ultimate still though... might go fill up a full tank, just in case.

There was a problem at one of the refineries and they haven't been delivering for over a week now, apparently a problem with the fuel itself. Truckies were being told to fill up before going to Melb because there was little/no fuel.

No one else heard about this? You'd think it would be bigger news.

My BP station (ferntree gully/burwood hwy) was out of Premium 95 and Ultimate 98 for over a week. They managed to get some Ultimate this week but are still out of Premium 95.

Just filled up a full tank of ultimate98, car's acting sorta funny now lol

Was at st kilda last night and no bp ultimate at all in there whole servo, dammit couldnt believe it my trusty old friend at the doncaster BP always has a full supply and I saw an ultimate truck there this morning

hmmm. BP has been average lately, economy on shell is average. caltex or mobil seems to be best.

Apparently Mobil has been getting fuel from other companies according to the reports

I fill up at different servo's (Northern Subs) for my different cars and have noticed that the higher octane is getting a bit scarce also...
