hi,

i've just had my current clutch fail after just over 6months! so im looking to replace it with either a nismo single plate or twin plate clutch.

My car is an r33 gts-t with 350hp (with possible 400hp in the near future), would i be better of just using a nismo single plate?

Also how is the twin plate for daily driving?

cheers michael

bloody excellent.

i just switched from an ORC to the Nismo super coppermix twin and it drives like stock. Doesn't rattle when either engaged or disengaged.

haven't launched it yet (don't really plan to) but it is a sweet sweet clutch.

my car is an early GTR, so push type (will be same as yours)

i don't drive the car every day but now it really can be driven daily.

hmmm

quick question is a twin plate over-kill for my 350hp possible 400hp in the future.

price difference is like $400ish... no point spending the money if i dont need it

Im in the same position as you. Im making 300hp at wheels now. And im leaning towards a twin plate. Cos the 260rs is a heacy car so it abuses the clutch when launched from a dead stop. Im planing to make 300-320kw@wheels in about 1 yr. So...

im also leaning towards the twin, i will be ordering mine tonight, so should be here in 1-2weeks, i let you know what its like once i've install it

I just bought one of those clutch`s got it yesterday. I bought a Nismo - Big Operating Cylinder to go with it just incase i felt it was abit heavy on the pedal.

Just waiting on arrival of other stuff from Japan before get it all installed.
