Thats the 353kw unit doing the 7:38.

It might go faster on a completely dry track, 7:38 was with some wet areas of the track.

Thats fast enough at any rate to give it some cred.

I'm surprised there is no mention of Ferrari or Lamborghini on that list. Also, most of the field on that list is RWD, probably to save on weight I'm guessing. I wonder how the GTR would go with only RWD only to save on weight. Just goes to show that AWD won't necessarily get you around the track quicker, maybe corners though. It's still a bit disappointing that the GTR weighs so much. How much does the stripped out version weigh though?

Look you mint not like what im saying and thats totally understandable, but that lap isn't how European publications time their laps. Even Jeremy Clarckson and Sabine (scary German chick) uses the bridge to gantry timing method.

Just by looking at the GTR video, you would clearly notice that the lap was incomplete.

Exactly thats why some publications even go as far as buying/renting a showroom car just to test them. Even if they used the setting for production models, you have to remember that these three development cars have been tuned individually (unlike the cars that come straight off the production line).

Not bad for a over-weight whale that drags the ass and fits 2 large adults up front and maybe 2 little ones in the back.

Don't forget the GTR is the same size as a Monaro or maybe even bigger.

1750kg sure hurts though...suppose I will just gave to loose 50kg to go faster....
