Right.. well heres the thing.

As some of you know I got defected for my "Turbo Whistle" (BOV) and I went to Queensland Transport today to get it checked.

We took the Blitz off last night and replaced the intercooler pipe with another standard pipe.

Driving to work this morning it cut out at a set of lights. AND NO I didn't stall it I was engine braking and the revs just dropped and dropped. By the time I realised I couldn't rev it.

Then when I stopped at the next set of lights the revs flutuated (sp?) between 500rpm and 1000rpm like Up down up down up down until I revved it.

Question is. Is this from removing the BOV or is it something else. We had this problem when we first got the car but fixing the wire from the speedo to computer and the speed sensor working stopped it?

Is removing the BOV whats causing this?

This is the only reason I can think of because it's all we touched. But I can't understand by just removing the BOV and having the standard one on it would do this??

Please help.

Well we have just taken the aftermarket one off because of a defect. But before that we had both aftermarket and standard on there working fine. Car was running fine.

But this afternoon we will swap the pipe back over and see what happens.

In the next few weeks we will be getting a decent plumbback put on and removing both of the ones on there now.
