bloodsword27
ROFL i pulled my dump/front pipe off using only 2 hydraulic jacks and 2 car stands.....and a good hour of f!@#ing around figuring out how to unbolt off the turbo lol ...the two on top and bottom closest to the guard is easy to take off, jsut use a breaker bar only real need for the hoist is to unbolt off the cat (piss hard BUT do-able when chassis is an inch off ur face!) hardest one to get to will be the middle one on the side of the turbo facing the block. it WILL be hard for a first timer, but definitely do-able! i should make a bet too lol trust me you might be sore and bleeding off ur face but you wont regret giving it a shot! really good learning experience (and yes i did hit myself in the face with a spanner......) Kaz200
We used a friends hoist as well for the 32, and I can tell you now that after all the freakin pain trying to get the zorst off and new one on, I would be more than happy to pay $135! Jacking up the 180 about 1m at the back just to change a catback.. also pain in the arse. You just never know how many 15yr old bolts you're going to snap til it's too late.. I even snapped my brittle radiator drain plug once.. luckily we have 2 other (Nissan) cars here with the same size plug Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/190601-dumpfront-pipe-install-help-d/page/2/#findComment-3438673 Share on other sites
