Stalling problem

Just wondering if anyone has had this problem. When i pull up to stop signs/give-way/lights that are on an uphill slope, sometimes my car stalls. i've also been smelling petrol every now and then when i start the car, i was wondering if this means my fuel pump has gone, or is dying, or if its something else? any help is appreciated

If you have a BOV that vents to atmo - its that. to fix it get a hybrid BOV something that vents back to AFM otherwise put the stock on back on.
