I hear u can get a Wicked one done for like 10k :P

What sort of "clean up" are u talking about??? All ya pipes cabling..

Mate list could be miles long ya know.

ahahhaha u c**ts are quite persistent eh?

nehoo just the standard stuff like, chroming pipes, changing factory silicon houses, braided lines n shit like that.

maybe fabricating a new intake pipe.

cuz i just ordered one of those plazmaman plenums and thought since its all chromed up and clean, why not do the rest of the bay

good clean of the engine bay after.

so nismoid, hows ur car? i hear its nearly as old as you, might need a candy paintjob soon huh?

polish the top of your engine, won't cost much... get all the little metal hoses, clamps and bits zinc coated and chemically polished... there's places that do em in bulk for a couple of hundred bucks, and they come out shiny as. cover up your electrical bits and give your whole engine bay a good hosedown with grease remover that they sell in autobahn, don't get it on clearcoat, but on any other paint its OK and the grease n dirt will wash off. after that just tidy up your wiring and put all the polished bits back on and you'll have a nice engine bay.

i dont really have alot of time on my hands cuz i work n skool it, but sounds good man. i really wanna find a workshop who knows wth they doin, saves me time, not a biggie if i have to pay a lil extra.

You reckon if i get a candy paint job i could sell try sell it for $44,000 like you did for your stock GT-t ?

hahahaahha, its a lil hard to say cuz mines still factory paint, but give it a go pops, try use the search button aswell, its there for a reason, right "admin" :P

On a serious note hanging something from the fan belt or maybe some big dice from the rear view mirror that gives u an extra 20kw and adds 5k :)

LOL yea look at places like nengun and other shops like that to get parts.

chroming u can have that done anywhere look in the yellow pages.

But make sure u paint the engine bay something *ucken MAD!!!!

Pear or something will look nuts bro

As a cheap and easy alternative, if you have the dosh lying around, why not put that under the engine bay to "bling it up". 20c coin style rocker cover and $2 coin turbo definately brings out the bling! :)

    • Hey all, I'm sorry if this has been discussed before.  I have a 2008 Japanese import V36 coupe with nav but without Bose. I bought one of those AliExpress android screens, which for the most part works really well.  The only thing that doesn't work is the air con controls (well sort of) and the factory reverse camera.  The AC can be controlled fine but it doesn't report the change in temp and mode to the screen, and the volume knob/other audio controls from the panel don't register on the learning app.  I am pretty certain that the problem is the difference in the head unit between base model (Nav but no Bose) 2007-2009 coupes and anything after 2009.  Mine is the one with the blue connector all the way to the right as seen in this forum post:  The reason I think this is there is one wire left over that doesn't fit anywhere on this head unit, or in the factory screen which also uses different connectors to more recent versions.  I've seen the upgrade from OWC, and have sent the guy a message on eBay but no response yet.  I also don't particularly need the whole kit, just *maybe* an adapter for this one cable.  Did anyone else here have the same problem, or have any insight about what I can do to get this working?  I have been in contact with the seller but all they seem to be able to do is ask for more pictures and videos. Minor edit to add:  I have been researching and found a screen on Aliexpress that actually specifies my head unit in the listing, so these things do exist.  I will contact the seller to see if the wiring adapters are interchangeable with other screens.   Thanks in advance!
