When you put an aftermarket steering wheel on, you need to plug the horn into the existing plug. There is a plug with four legs. Two are for the airbad and two for the horn. Normally this plug will have on plug removed. This is one of the horn plugs. This means that the horn connects between the other single pin and the outside casing of the wheel. The other two pins need to be bridged to allow the car to think that the airbag is still present. If you put your old steering wheel back on, you need to plug everthing in properly and the airbag light should go off.

Check that you have pluged everything correctly, if that looks ok, get a multimeter and check where the break in connection is. There should be connection between the two airbag pins.

Hope this helps... sorry if its a bad explination, but it is 2am... been awake forever :P

Yeah you'll have to do an srs airbag reset after changing the s/wheels over. If its a/market make sure it has an airbag (not rwc if youve removed it) Follow the link above, I didnt get this one to work, but another variation of it did found on here.
