I've got the G4 front brake kit on and on rear fresh rebuilt rear calipers with new bendix ultimate pads and new DBA 4000 rotors.

I've got an annoying squeak that goes with the road speed. I can make it go away by braking, actually I only have to very very lightly touch the brakes so they are almost not slowing me down at all, and the sqeak dissappears.

It sounds like it's coming from the back but I'm not sure.

I jacked the car up and moved the wheels around but couldn't hear it squeaking then.

What should I be checking?

Cheers.

well....they did get thrashed last week......

clean discs and calipers with brake cleaner.

if you are confident its the rear, machine the rotors and use a bench grinder to resurface the pads.

I've never had rear squeak problems but i guess it is possible

As mentioned above make sure the pads a chamfered if not already

It could be just the pad material the new pads now have a lot more

metal in them because they cant use asbestos anymore so they sweak

a little. As you said you apply the brakes a little and it goes away and I've

noticed that once they heat up the sweak goes away.Or it could be the

brake dust is why its sweaks I wouldn't worry to much if it was me they

may just need a little more bedding in
