Depends on where in campbelltown.

I live in Leumeah and wouldnt live anywhere else.

Never had any problems,Public school and Highschool 5 min walk either direction.Close to train station.

Reasonally priced property.

campbelltown is a shithole, there are plenty of better places to live that are closer to the city..

if you like 17yo mothers and dole bludgers than campbelltown is your spot :(

heh, you should probably visit before making sweeping statements. The area is huge with the majority of the population being young families. A large proportion of residential development in sydney in the last 20 years has been out here.

Nothing wrong with it, property is very well priced lots of new housing around the place rather than 40 year old houses/blocks of units in the inner suburbs.

Close to oran park, though in 3 years that will have likely been closed and developed, easy drive to wakefield park.

Travel to the city is a bitch if you drive as the M5 is backed up from about 6am, trains are accessable though.

I just bought a 7 year old house on an 880m2 block for under 400k. You can't do that anywhere else in sydney.

**** THE MOST CONFUSING DAY IN CAMBELLTOWN IS FATHERS DAY****

Yeh Oran park is the only bonus but is only going to be around for another few years if that! It gets really hot out there and takes years to get too the city and the people i guess are the same as anywhere you have your bad areas and good areas I know of a bad area their actullay it is just a house LOL WANKER! Sorry back to the subject

Advice.... locate employment find out how much you want to spend on rent and go from there. We will be happy to help

Ive lived near ctown nearly all of my life. And have never had a problem. U will find it if you want it though.. Public transport is easily accessable and to drive anywhere is relitvly quick. It is kind of like central for access to sydney city, wollongong and the blue mountains.

alot of areas in sydney have dole bludgers n teeny bopper's popping babies out....not just campbelltown.....there are better places to live in sydney eg bondi...but not everyone was brought up with a silverspoon. good n bad in every suburb so making generalisations cause of certain areas that are bad doesnt make it ALL bad.

Altho it does share its numbers of smakies around tho, but since the gov likes to give our hard earned money away in taxes so easierly.....makes you want to go on the dole!:P

Campbelltown isnt that bad just the all the bludgers etc come from other suburbs to live

haha

Seriously it isnt that bad a place to live..surrounding areas like camden, harrington park denham court, st andrews etc is probably nicer place to live

ive been in glenfield and mac fields for more than 20 years and its the only place i feel comfortable in. i dont know anyone on the dole, i dont get mugged every day and i catch a train to the city in 35min. why would you live anywhere else? especially if you own a skyline, you need somewhere with access to roads that are actually fun to drive, unless your a poser who is an inch of the ground cruising for chicks.

I have lived on both sides of sydney and find them relatively the same :)

Depends how close you want to be to the city and if you like open space??

Campbelltown is nice, im in the good part and its relatively modern..all new housing estates are going up and its cheaper liveing out here and the M5 is pretty good most days just gets a bit backed up if there is an accident :O

Campbelltown is misunderstood, everywhere there is good and bad!!

It all depends on the lifestyle you are use too..

Let us know if and when you plan on moving will come and say hi :)
