R33 Gts-t Stock Ecu Question

On an R33 GTS-T 5speed manual, if the ecu is toast, can an auto ecu be used as a replacement?

You can use a auto computer behind a manual box.

I've driven a car like this felt funny between gear

changes and had a lot less power.You have to remember

that they have been programed to suit either a manual

or auto for that reason,best to stick with a manual ecu

for a manual car

As long as the auto ecu is from a turbo R33 it will run. As above, the auto ecu retards timing between gear changes so it will feel funny when changing.

Is a quick fix if your planning on selling it o/wise just get a greddy emu

remember that the emu is a piggyback so he'll need a working stock ecu to run with it, if he goes that route

you dont have a torque converter tho. that may be why its a bit smudgy. should actually run fine enough for a while
