hi mate, I can't confirm but they may well be interchangeable.

I got a replacement caster rod for my 32 gtr which I was told was a gtr, it was a perfect fit but was about 1cm narrower where the bush goes through. I am thinking it was probably a 32 gtst one. If so, the gtst one fits fine on a gtr, and probably vice versa. Also left and right are interchangeable you just need to knock the studs out and put them back in from the other side

why do you need new ones? dead bushes or some problem with the actual rods

Thanks for that info man.

I need them for RWC, they are slightly worn apparently.

I have ordered after-market caster rods, but they have no arrived yet, so I sorta need new ones urgently so I can get my car rego'd :P

Reason I asked why GTR ones will fit is because my cousin just pulled his GTR ones out, and replaced them with CUSCO ones. His bushes are in pretty good working order, so I thought if we could interchange them from GTR to GTST for a while, that would help me out and save me some $money.

I guess I will just pull mine out tomorrow and compare them to his GTR ones, but I thought GTR would be different for sure due to the altessa setup.

No they are not the GTR are different because they are 4WD

the bushes should be the same.

Need a more definite answer than that man, seems like your just guessing?

You know that for a fact or are you guessing?

I know the R33 GTR and GTST caster rods are the same, not sure about the 32's

Thanks Al. You wouldn't know if R33 caster rods fit R32?

33 is different, they are straight not slightly bent for a start.

6 nuts to fit both of the gtr ones. If the bush at the front of the subframe fits the rest will.

It is cheap and easy to replace the bushes though, adjustable arms aren't a great solution because they come with rose jointed rod ends instead of bushes like standard - they will wear and start to get noisey much sooner than the standard style.

The Noltec website lists the GTR and GTS-t having different width bushes.

82.5mm for the GTR

71.5mm for the GTS-t

Pretty much just confirms Duncan's findings. :O

On the note of adjustable arms and sphericals, Noltec also make an adjustable arm that uses bushes instead of sphericals, so would be a good solution if you're after a bit more adjustment on a still road driven car.

Down side is they retail for $494.64...

Says that they're only suitable for GTR, but I'm sure you could get them to put the shorter GTS-t bush in there instead. :)

Thanks for all the replies guys, I just don't have time to stuff around so I want to get it right the first time.

My best bet will be to fine a set of R32/S13 caster rods with good bushes, or just to buy a set of R32/S13 caster rods and get new bushes put on. That way its just out with the old ones and in with the new set, no stuffing around.

Yes I'm sure the GTS-4 and GTR are the same but

the GTS isn't.The arms are different

Yeah the front suspension for the GTR and GTS4's are the same because of the altessa system.
