*shrug* I'm over SPL . A cars cabin was never the best for trying to get flat bass response anyway.

Only thing I want now is a half decent arial. FM reception blows.

i bought a mitsubishi mirage purely for its design for the stereo, my sub weighs 18 kg alone, with around 35 kg worth of box in their, that dosent include the amps or anything else. i had to get my suspension stiffened up just to host the stereo because it dropped 45 mm the normal ride height and rubbed the 17's and the car felt like it was doing constant wheels stands.

the sub is a JBL 12, one of the big ones, the magnet is huge on it. It is such a quality sub. i cant find the specs right now, but i know it is around 18 kgs. the stereo is like having someone in the back constantly, if not worse because its past your rear wheels

Makes huge amount of difference. People say the car is not as loud, outside that is, but i believe that is better. inside makes it so much better
