Well guys i have a 1995 S14 w/rb20det,custom built rb25 turbo,series 5 rx-7 550cc injectors,hks ssqv bov,gtr fmic,3" turbo back,z32 mafs and tuned ecu.

Now he issue I am having is a very lean idle 22.4:1 to be exact....and what seems to be a miss.Boost and load is good but going pretty rich at some points in the map.Just so you know my k constant is at EC and my lag time is at 60 hex, theoretical afrs begin at 13.5:1 all the way to 11.4:1 at full boost.

Now I was wondering if anyone has some input as to what could cause this issue??Possibly pre-throttlebody air leak maybe???I have smoke tested the vacum system and the aac valve was leaking at the inlet so i fixed that today and the idle is nice and low now...Idle screw actually works but still lean and i dunno kinda sounds like a popcorn machine at revolutions. If i give the car light sustained throttle the motor shakes real bad....I have sprayed the hell out of everything with brake clean and carb clean and w/e else to no avail...and the smoke test didn't reveal anymore then what I fixed today.I am gonna build a leak tester tomorrow but if anyone has any idea please chime in I haven't drove my car since July and well I'm in Canada it's gonna snow here soon lol.

to be honest it just sounds like your light load/idle tune needs a bit of work.

I'd only be guessing re the k constant in your situation, but have you played with the map at all or just changed the constant to get it in the ball park?
