Need Help With Strange Problem

Hey guys, this morning while driving my stereo was turning off then back on straight away after this happened several times i noticed my turbo timer would starting to count down as if i had switched the ignition off, later it happened a few times fairly severely as i was starting to accelerate quickly, this time i even noticed all the warning lights on the dash light up like when u have the ignition on before starting the car. has anyone ever experienced this or heard of it or think they might be able to point me in the right direction? also I'm not sure if this is related but one of my rear speakers started playing up a few days ago too which i thought was weired cause its only like a year old. thanks for any help u can offer me guys.

sounds like your loosing voltage somewhere. alternator might be on its way out, something shorting out, or a loose connection on your "ign on" lines.

hey bro... check the batt make sue connections are clean and tight. is there a white build up on the terminals? next step take to auto elec. hope this helped

i thought about that so i kept an eye on the voltage gauge but seemed fine with plenty of voltage.

the voltage gauge might not have a fast reaction time. a split second voltage loss will be enough to cause problems.

oh ok so what should i be looking at first?

id start with battery terminals, alternator connections, ground connection to the engine. then id have a quick squizz at the wiring for the turbo timer, especially up near the ign barrell. if you have an alarm/immobiliser and it interrupts the ign line, id check the connections for that.

can you think of anywhere you've been poking around lately, anything you might have disturbed?
