Need Some Advise

hey guys,

need some help on how to solve this problem..my r32 gts-t's rpm meter will drop till the engine will stop moving whenever i press the clutch and brakes together, it happened when the car is still in motion and sometimes when i am making a turn,which i find kind of dangerous as the steering wheel will be locked and the brakes will be stiff..what do you guys reackon?

Is it only when your using the clutch and brakes together ?

I had a similar issue with my 32 gtr but it was only when just coming off boost or when idling at lights with clutch and brake depressed , obviously it made no difference regarding the clutch and brake as it turned out to be Airflow Meter.

If your having the same issue , try using contact cleaner ( circuit board cleaner ) to clean the AFM, i did this and then re-soldered the internal joins of the AFM as they were old and had broken joins.

Also check the hordes of Tech Threads on SAU regarding similar problems AAC Valve E.t.c

TPS (throttle position sensor) is a good possibility.

found out that the engine is actually not getting enough air as the original bov was blocked off..and just wondering does anyone here has a Nismo aftermarket dash for sale? if so please pm me!
